Balance and Stability
This model's stability is no doubt appealing. Both the front and rear wheels all have hollow cast-aluminum spokes. The trail and rake dimensions contribute greatly to stability. They are inclined at 27.5 degrees and are separated by only 4.4 inches between then. The same case applies to the stanchion tubes which are 41mm long. Since there is no sidewall that needs to be flexed, the bike should have more stability than the one that can be suggested in this review.
Originally, the FJ's wheel design was similar to the Pirelli that was built for Bimota. The front tire was 128mm wide, and this resulted in many steering torques that would easily bring the previous FJ to a halt when the rider was breaking on sharp corners. Additionally it became difficult for one to change lines all of a sudden when in a mid-corner position.
